Welcome

I specialize in teaching children who struggle learning to read, write, and spell. This can be related to dyslexia, learning disabilities, ADHD, or other language based differences.

My reading program is a structured literacy program that uses a speech to print approach. It is aligned with the science of reading, and it starts with what children learn and know first – speaking. All dyslexia treatment, activities, lessons, and practices are backed by the latest neuroscience research on how the brain learns to read.

My approach is direct, explicit, systematic instruction of phonemes and the structure of language. It is also fun and simple.

I’m so excited to connect with you and share my love of teaching reading with you and your child. ❤️

Words don’t teach💬
Felt experiences do ♥️

Attach a positive experience and it’s going to be near impossible to not enjoy and love that activity!

So much love and competence attached to the experience of reading now.
Every day is NEW DAY!
And a chance for a new experience, no matter how hard it’s been before.
